On Monday our walking group from Villelongue Dels Monts went to Gorges De Caranca.
It is situated just before St Thomas Le Bain after Prades.
There are various walks to do. We went from the parking which costs €2 which you have put in the machine.
We had a walk of 1and a half hours then crossed various passerelles, footbridges, and walkways, not for the people who have a fear of heights, I suffer from that but wasn’t prepared to turn back, that’s me clinging on for grim death on the first bridge!!. Certainly the fear factor diminished after the first 2 or 3. The walk around the corniche the footpath cut into the rock was something else. Scary, remarkable and impressive landscape and rivers and streams. The walk we did took us about 41/2 hours actual time 6 hours with stops.
