International Carillon Festival
For the 10th consecutive year, the international carillon festival will take place this summer, from 19th July to 23rd August, opening up the “Jeudis de Perpignan”. Last year’s theme was European Carillon Schools, with professors and their students giving the recitals, each Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. These free concerts are held on the 46-bell carillon of the St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Old St. John place, which is situated in between the Old St. John church and the cathedral, in Perpignan.This year’s theme has still to be communicated, but below is last year’s programme to give you an idea.
