"Elne Piano Fortissimo"

 

Elne is already famous for its historic past, but is now becoming more and more well known for its International Piano Festival.

For the eighth year running, Elne offers all music lovers the chance to attend prestigious concerts organised in the beautiful romanesque Elne Cathedral.

Thanks to an ever-growing audience, attracted by the quality of the pianists, the Elne Piano Fortissimo Festival is taking deeper and deeper roots in this Mecca of the Roussillon’s History. Many artistes are already well recognised for their musical skills and styles, and happy to share the great masterpieces of the world through generous and inventive programmes.

 18h30h : A lecture by Michèle TOSI célebrating the 5th anniversary of the death of Francis POULENC - well know French compositeur. Musical illustration by young talents of CRR Perpignan-Méditerranée

Followed by "Apératif Dinatoire" (drinks and light finger buffet)

21h00: Jazz piano concert by Clarisse VARILH
