International Film Festival 2012, Prades

 

The 53rd ’Festival International des Ciné-Rencontres de Prades’ will take place from the 13th to 21st July 2012. It is the second longest running film festival in France, beaten only by the Cannes Film Festival, and was created in 1959 under the honorary presidency of René Clair and Pablo Casals.

Sessions will be led by Philippe Pilard, director, president of the Agence du Court-Métrage, British film specialist and biographer.

A competition of short films:
"Prix du public Bernard Jubard" based on a selection of 20 international films of the year.

Meetings between visitors and directors.
As every year, after each session, there will be a discussion between the public and cinema guests every day at 11 am
