Music festival in Villelongue dels Monts.

 

For the second year, this exciting new music festival, held in the small village of Villelongue, will place its emphasis firmly on the heritage, and culture of the region and its surroundings, together with Catalan gastronomy.

 

A variety of concerts ranging from classical, jazz, children’s concerts, to contemporary and Brazilian music, will give you the chance to watch great entertainment played out in local scenery.

The whole project is designed to help you to discover and rediscover all the Sounds of Music - in the most delightful way - using the five senses, especially hearing.

 

The event will be held in the welcoming village of Villelongue dels Monts, located in the heart of the Albères, in the village centre, at the amphitheatre, in vineyards, mills, orchards……Look out too for musical walks around the beautiful countryside.

Before the event, there will be a one-week workshop, ‘une académie internationale’ for children, students, and musicians from all over France, to get together, meet the artists and learn about the academy. Many artists will be in Villelongue dels Monts.
