The Alpha Course at Riverchurch
Riverchurch is pleased to announce that we shall be commencing The Alpha Course on Wednesday 17th September, running each Wednesday until 3rd December.
You may ask, ‘What is the Alpha Course?’
Alpha is for anyone who is curious about the Christian Faith.
It explores the basics of the Christianity in a friendly, open and informal environment, where no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. The course makes no assumption of any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome. No pressure. No follow up. No charge.
Although originating from the UK, The Alpha Course has been tried by at least 24 million people in 169 countries and 112 languages. There are more details on the Alpha website at www.alpha.org.

☛ Why Did Jesus Die?
☛ How Can I Have Faith?
☛ Why and How Do I Pray?
☛ How Can I Be Filled with the Holy Spirit?

☛ Does God Heal Today?
We will begin each week with lunch at 12.30, then show the DVD on the particular subject for the week at 14.00, leaving plenty time for questions and discussion. We will finish by 16.30.
Colin & Barbara have kindly offered to be our hosts, so the location will be at Banyuls-dels-Aspres.
