Estagel art - Clare Gallaway exhibits.....

The paintings of locally-based watercolour artist Clare Gallaway are on view (and on sale) throughout the year in the Restaurant of Hotel Le Plein Sud, Estagel. Since coming to ’le 66’ ten years ago, love of the light, landscapes and ’patrimoine’ turned a pastime into a passion and Clare now exhibits regularly in the region. Primarily a watercolourist, she also uses ink and wash, pencil and sometimes gouache; themes are local street scenes and historic buildings, the play of light and shadow and still life featuring luscious local produce.
Restaurant-Hotel Le Plein Sud (Bvd Jean-Jaurès, centre of Estagel) is open every day and offers both menu de jour and à la carte created by the chef .
