Music, street theatre, jugglers, clowns, acrobats, flamenco, salsa, jazz, flamenco, tango, fanfares, reggae, hip-hop, sardanes, jazz, blues…)…...... and late night shopping!

This is Thursday evening in Perpignan when local, national and international artistes light up the streets and the ‘places’ with a sparkling mixture of colour, sound and rhythm. From the 14th July to the 18th August Perpignan once again plays host to the annual “Jeudis de Perpignan” street festival – each evening and incredible, atmospheric mix of local colour and diversity.

The festivities – resembling a street carnival spread across 6 Thursdays in the summer – bring together close to 800 artists, musicians, dancers and actors in dozens upon dozens of lively performances which take place in 11 locations around the historic town centre of Perpignan. From 19h30 every Thursday during the festival – the streets of Perpignan literally come alive!

Come along with friends and family and experience that warm Mediterrranean buzz in the air.

It’s free, and you can either settle down on a café trottoir and watch whatever is going on there, or tour around the streets, places and fountains for a total mix of a bit of everything.

A weekly event throughout July and August. A Jeraboam of atmosphere! Not to be missed
